She did SO WELL, and it was so fun to be at the recital, which featured dancers from toddler age to adults. Seeing a show like that, especially one that was so professionally done, totally made me want to get back into dance! I pity the dance studio that would take me as their student, but I'm going to look for one anyway.
One of the dances was so amazing...it was a lyrical dance to a beautiful song that I have never heard before, but spent all day Sunday trying to find because it was so emotionally moving to me. I finally figured out that it was sung by an artist named Charlotte Martin, out of NYC. Here is my new favorite song:
Logan's t-ball game was just as entertaining. Here are a few pics:
Of course, Miss Malori was supporting her big brother in high style.
After a lunch at G & D Steakhouse, which is apparently a place that, according to Ben, you just "have" to eat at when you come to Columbia, it was back home to KC for us. Saturday night was spent around the firepit with neighbors Kyle and Anna, and Sunday was a BBQ to celebrate a friend's homecoming and the end of LOST with best friends at Jason and Amy's. Check out Jason and friends' new blog here.
One more week of school now, and then it's time to get ready for Bennett. Thank the Lord for heat and sunshine, and the promise of summer.
HOLLA -
